I am a PhD student at the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Department at Purdue University. I am interested in studying Aphasia recovery, particularly how Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine intelligence can be adapted and used for research and recovery. I work with Dr. Jiyeon Lee at the Apahsia Recovery lab and will collaborate with faculty of various disciplines.I previously worked with Dr. Rachel Ryskin at the Language, Interaction & Cognition Lab, studying language change over the lifespan through various projects. I worked with Dr. Ross Greer at the Machine Intelligence, Interaction & Imagination Lab, studying how Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) can be used to provide context-aware navigation support for individuals with visual impairment.
